This. Is how I feel. Exactly.
But don’t you think, if they were seeking after God, being molded by him, and in His will, that God will have created them for the task he asks of them? Yes, it takes faith, yes, there is uncertainty, but surely the God who created you and said His plan was for good and not evil, for a future and hope would place that desire in you to do what He wills of you. It’s a blessing, not a cop out, to know at least part of God’s will.
While it does take prayer and self examination I disagree with the wonderful (used not facetiously) Susan B. as she is quoted here.
